Everything old is new again. Just ask the artisans at France’s Du Cote du Parc.
Calling upon ancient techniques dating back to Assyrian times, Du Cote Du Parc’s trays, chests and more are meticulously painted by hand on the reverse side of a piece of glass. It’s a painstaking process, as layer after layer of paint is added – not only in reverse, but beginning with the foreground and working backwards. The finished glass panel is attached to a polished wooden frame…and, as they say in France, voilà!
If you love the finer things in life, you won’t be able to resist Du Cote du Parc. Every piece is a work of art you can enjoy every day.
