Tefal Cookware
Like so many cookware innovations, Tefal’s story started in France. In the early 1950s in Paris, Marc Gregoire applied Teflon (which had been invented a few years earlier) to his fishing gear to minimise tangles. His wife wondered aloud whether Teflon might be able to be applied to cookware as well…
Gregoire began marketing cookware under the name Tefal…and soon enough, non-stick cookware became popular all over the world.
These days, Tefal cookware is still always a step or two in front of the competition. Determined to take over your kitchen (and beyond!) in addition to their classic range of non-stick cookware, Tefal also makes sandwich makers, irons and more.
